Other dams would include a 30 km link between Hokkaido and Sakhalin Island, and the Hokkaido-Honshu land bridge (time to completion: 10-20 years, just in time to save the beleaguered Hokkaido Shinkansen).
The main engineering feature of this project would be the 200km long dam across Tsushima Strait, linking Busan to Fukuoka which would include a high speed rail link among other things.
