Posting a thing I did at work today because it's always quiet enough on Sundays to bring my colored pencils and sketchbook. x3 Did some practice with shading using complementary colors instead of analogous.
And...it came out unexpectedly DANG GOOD. Yeah I'm gonna be doing more of this. XD #artwork

Posting a thing I did at work today because it's always quiet enough on Sundays to bring my colored pencils and sketchbook. x3 Did some practice with shading using complementary colors instead of analogous.
And...it came out unexpectedly DANG GOOD. Yeah I'm gonna be doing more of this. XD #artwork

So I got a bunch of different art medium supplies for Christmas, expect some works x3 Like this tiger, which originally was a practice for "force" posing (a type of line-of-action) that I did with colored pencils. I love how she came out really. ^.^ #art #animalart #tiger #coloredpencilart

Showing off some more sketches I did recently. For the first, I wanted to practice hands and ended up doing mostly scaled draconic talons/digits; been loving the aesthetic of scales/limbs on a humanoid form. The second is a wyvern base design for an adoptable idea. Hard to get wyverns right, though.

I messed around more in Tiny Glade today because I didn't quite know what to do with myself. x3 I fixed my mage tower cottage by adding a door to the house, after creating a whole lakeside manor, with front and back views. I could build for hours, but one only gets a small bit of space. #tinyglade

Something I discovered about writing a novel with two storylines that eventually intersect is that you might have to keep track of how much time each line takes before the event so it lines up. Thankfully I somehow seem to keep the time disparity of both within a few days of each other.

I haven't posted anything I made here in a bit, so here's a little mage-tower cottage I built while messing with Tiny Glade, which is pretty much just a build-pretty-things game, but it's super zen and relaxing. x3 Once I get used to the controls I may just build whole villages and towns.

Book update: Third book is now nearly two-hundred pages long (about the same as the first two), and I still have maybe five or six chapters left to write. Plot points are being resolved and Chekov's Guns fired...endgame time, folks!

As of this post, I have passed the 100,000 word mark on Book 3. No spoilers, but a little teaser, it's a funeral scene. I'm welling up just writing it, so I imagine I'm doing a tearjerker right. x3

Some pics I took of the woods around my boyfriend's parents' place on Memorial Day, where I went for a nice cookout. Looks like I found where some of this year's cicada brood woke up. X3 Plus a fallen tree that my monkey brain wanted to climb and sit on. Love a nice woods-walk. ^^

Took a picture of Phoenix being pretty. :3 He's now just about five feet long. His current favorite thing is making tunnels in his aspen substrate, including under his water bowl, which prompted me to put a paper towel under it so stuff doesn't get in it. xP

So I've been pulled back into World of Warcraft lately, and those who know me can probably guess why: the Dracthyr race.
Honestly, I find them so fun to customize and create. xP Plus they ARE fun to play, and their Evoker hero class is quite the powerhouse.
