Shitter is worse than Facebook now. I saw FB go downhill from 2015 to 2020. I said "Fuck it" and deactivated FB almost 5 years ago.

Twitter was a valuable platform for San Diego Comic Con. The useful pages have been dead on Shitter over a year. There's no point anymore and deactivated today. 1/2

The data shook my biohacking worldview regarding anti-aging. The article in Nature Aging, titled “Effect of the mitophagy inducer urolithin A on age-related immune decline: a randomized, placebo-controlled trial,” reveals that taking Urolithin A daily for a month can have exciting effects on middle-aged healthy adults. It helps shift the immune system to a more youthful state, with more naive CD8+ T cells (Helper T), a less exhausted phenotype, better metabolic flexibility, stronger activation responses, and improved phagocytosis. You are probably unaware of the problem of “immunosenescence,” but aging of the immune system (particularly cellular immune responses) is a major contributor to morbidity and mortality in the elderly. These positive changes associated with Urolithin A suggest that supporting mitochondrial health, by encouraging mitophagy and mitochondrial renewal, might be a helpful way to combat some aspects of immune aging. Furthermore, other clinical trials have documented that this supplement improves muscle strength and endurance, particularly in older adults. A year ago, the Democratic Party decided to tell its voters “no.” Its leaders, Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries, adopted a playbook written by a fossil, James Carville, who argued that the Democrats should do nothing: Sit back, don’t make a fuss, and let Trump wreak havoc—then swoop in and win back power. At the same time, Democrats began formulating a message that attempted to scale back what they now believed were the excesses of the previous eight years. The party would be more conservative on gender and immigration, in particular, but also economics.

His talk is as bad as Reagan's "welfare queen" myth that does nothing more than perpetuate bullshit.
You won't read this in the press but the real source of high dudgeon over SNAP interruptions traces not to the poor but to industry: it's the food sellers that are most panicked.

Well, most of them would. The book might be subtitled “The Betrayal of Robert Reich.” The economist, an early and influential New Democrat thinker, pops up throughout Left Behind. In Geismer’s account, he spent the 1970s and 1980s arguing for a faster, government-directed transition to a tech-and-service economy, and spent part of the 1990s as Clinton’s labor secretary, often trying to make the administration’s reforms and proposals marginally fairer and more generous, only to be foiled at basically every opportunity. At one point, Reich was forced to stop using the term “corporate welfare” in public; Treasury Secretary Robert Rubin thought it might spook the markets. Reich quit the administration shortly after Clinton’s 1996 reelection. Largely except for his example, Left Behind shows us, over and over again, officials coming up with solutions to problems that might work in theory, implementing diminished versions of them, and calling it a great success.

Clinton, then running for reelection, was comfortably ahead in the polls when he signed the welfare reform bill. His political adviser Dick Morris had urged him to sign it as “insurance.”

Reagan took the neoliberalism of Carter and speedballed it without needing cocaine from John DeLorean to do it.

Sadly, things would only get worse.
Thus the Democrat Jimmy Carter—not Republicans Richard Nixon or Ronald Reagan—first discarded New Deal policies that had long sustained growth and raised wages for all workers. He spurned Keynesianism, deregulated industries from airlines to banking, and fatally abandoned a labor-reform bill that unions saw as vital to their survival.
