Prasad is facing several personnel complaints filed against him, including some that involve sexual harassment, retaliation against subordinates and verbally berating staff, people familiar with the matter said. He lives in the San Francisco area and usually commutes to the FDA's Maryland headquarters for several days every two weeks. Taxpayers pay for his commute, which according to one estimate costs around $65,000 a year, according to an agency document reviewed by The Wall Street Journal.

Quite a few of us were warning people about Vinay Prasad before it was cool. He might have looked like a respectable physician driven by an EBM mindset, but he was a COVID anti-vaxxer fuelled by a contrarian streak.

The "respectable" ones may be the most dangerous in terms of public health.

With revisions, the +130,000 jobs in January is actually the best of the Trump's term. He didn't have a single month over +100,000 in 2025, with 3 months of job losses.
Also Biden is no longer the only president ever to have positive jobs numbers every month of his tenure. Jan '25 is now negative.

This year, they’re raising premiums AGAIN to boost their bottom line.

🚨One of the reasons I haven’t been on social media as much is not just due to my health. I have also been dealing with multiple prior authorizations, which has taken up days & now weeks. I have been on Medicare part D for 16 years and this year was absolutely the worst. I need these meds to survive.
