Two years after the senseless acts of violence and horrific attacks of 7 October, I am thinking of everyone who lost loved ones and those who are still held hostage and waiting to be reunited with those held hostage.

Two years on, we remember the horrific events of 7 October.

We call today, and every day, for an end to the violence.

It was really great to visit Bungay High School and spend time talking with staff and students. I’m delighted that Bungay High is part of the network of Climate Ambassadors in Waveney Valley,

I’m sorry to say that I’m not able to attend the
@greenparty.org.uk conference this year, as it coincides with my Dad’s funeral. I really hope everyone has a great time in Bournemouth.

There’s a lot of passion in Halesworth for creating a greener future & I look forward to supporting the community to achieve this.

We need stronger govt action & there is also a lot we can do locally so it’s great to see Halesworth Town Council’s Climate Energy Pathway towards Net Zero coming together.

I loved taking part in Halesworth Climate Action weekend, exploring ways to meet our energy needs sustainably. I spoke about the action we need nationally and locally to tackle the climate emergency, make us more resilient and lower bills.

It’s crucial that we keep the local in local government. That is why I'm backing the three-unitary council option for both Norfolk and Suffolk

I understand why the East Anglian Schools Trust has concluded that a sixth form is sadly no longer viable at Bungay High. I & my team are here to assist any parent, guardian or student who has any concerns.

I have also had assurances that the education of the current year 13 students will not be impacted.

This news is disheartening for the whole community, as losing a sixth form is a real loss. However, after speaking with the school,

In light of this latest news, I have spoken to the East Anglian Schools Trust leadership about the support they will be providing to the current year 11 pupils to help them make the best possible plans for their next academic year.

I am deeply disappointed by the announcement that Bungay High will no longer offer a sixth form. Since the sudden decision at the start of the school year to not continue with a planned new intake of sixth form students, I have been engaging with the school regularly.

Great to sit down with Lord Deben last night to talk green politics, my journey to Parliament and more. Fantastic discussion with a local audience at the Debenham Lion on the benefits of a green economy and the costs of not acting.

and @netdunning.bsky.social, our General Election candidate for Central Suffolk and North Ipswich. Looking ahead to a crucial year of elections, this was an excellent moment to come together and build momentum.

It was great to catch up with the volunteers doing such great work to restore and protect nature in and around Brockdish.

Big thanks to everyone who gives their time and energy to make this happen for the community.

I had such a great time yesterday at the Waveney Volunteers for Nature Open Day on Brockdish Common. Loads for people of all ages, from art displays to building your own bug hotel.

I dropped into The Shelf community supermarket, a community-owned and run food hub. Membership is just £3.50 and gives access to a wide range of affordable groceries, helping people eat well despite the rising cost of food.

I had a great afternoon going around Diss. It’s brilliant to see new businesses opening, including a new Co-op. I also had the chance to chat with businesses, including Timpson’s in Diss, about how Diss high street is doing well.

Every child deserves the support they need to thrive.

The challenges surrounding SEND provision are immense, with many families, schools, and councils at crisis point. The voices of children, parents, and teachers must be at the centre of all plans for SEND.

East Suffolk Council made the right decision in refusing permission for the mega-chicken factory in Shadingfield.

This decision protects animal welfare by stopping hundreds of thousands of birds from being crammed into cruel conditions & it safeguards the local environment.

After an eventful week, it was great to be out doing what matters most, meeting constituents at my surgery in Bunwell and catching up with residents in Carleton Rode who shared their concerns about flooding risks and support for special educational needs.
