Appalling act of violence in Manchester today.

The rise of hate and religious hatred is completely unacceptable.

These are horrific antisemitic attacks which we must all condemn.

Two dead in Manchester synagogue attack, with suspect shot dead by police

Video from the scene, verified by the BBC, shows a man with items strapped around his waist. The attack happened on Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish calendar.

I understand why the East Anglian Schools Trust has concluded that a sixth form is sadly no longer viable at Bungay High. I & my team are here to assist any parent, guardian or student who has any concerns.

I am deeply disappointed by the announcement that Bungay High will no longer offer a sixth form. Since the sudden decision at the start of the school year to not continue with a planned new intake of sixth form students, I have been engaging with the school regularly.

I dropped into The Shelf community supermarket, a community-owned and run food hub. Membership is just £3.50 and gives access to a wide range of affordable groceries, helping people eat well despite the rising cost of food.

East Suffolk Council made the right decision in refusing permission for the mega-chicken factory in Shadingfield.
