@thebirdemergency.bsky.social proposed the largest solar farm in Earth?! Estimated 17.3M/yr birds die at solar facilities. With 490km2 of solar panels near Lake Woods this needs scrutiny. It’s also a bilby stronghold -applicant estimate it reduces the bilby occupied suitable habitat (AOO) by 1.75%.
