Nothing I can write makes this funnier than it already is.

It is odd that twice in the last month a major uranium mind may have to be suspended because of water.

Has that NIH advisory committee that does flu vaccines gotten to meet yet? What happened to this story?

Market is attempting to punish Trump at equal depth and velocity to the rate in which he makes bad decisions. Even though we are all losing money and its painful, that is something to admire.

Great job!! TSLA is now the single worst performing stock YTD in the S&P500.

Uranium is being treated by the market as a line item in AI capex and not as an energy material or commodity, and it is creating alot of pain and confusion for retail (me included).

Someone should make a list of every conceivable way to hurt Musk and Trump financially and legally. I don’t own a Tesla and left Twitter. I want more ideas.

In an extraordinary display of public support, heads of state, heads of government, and foreign ministers from all over Europe and Canada are posting in support of Ukraine in response to the Oval Office meeting with Trump, Zelenskyy, and Vance.

Feels like everyone is expecting a painful week for the markets, and there is very little to suggest otherwise.

I don’t invest in the Chinese market because the accounting standards are zero and fraud is rampant, but if I did now is an unusually good time. BYD, Tencent, SE and probably and an international money mover like futu. You wouldn’t hit 100% but you would hit short term overall.

Congressman Robert Garcia: Well, he is a dick.

For the first time this year there is somewhat sustained upward price movement in u308, but how is due to Canadian tariff expectation is unclear.
February 4, 2025 at 12:45 PM
The markets on monday are going to give me a goddamn ulcer bc of Trumps dumbass tariffs. I don’t even know if commodities and producers will be spared, as instead a bunch of money just goes to forward short to mid term spot future contracts and leaves equities.

$tsla rev, earnings miss and lower profit guidance. Cheaper, crappier cars with the same decade long promise of humanoid ai and fsd in the future. Why is this thing up ah? Investors are blind and/or deaf.

$urnj has not been meaningfully impacted by the AI surge of the last year. It is down yoy and trades in sympathy with spot usually. It is down over 7% right now off this deepseek news, despite the lack of correlation.
January 27, 2025 at 2:47 PM
Definitely $sdci, probably $gdxj and maybe $xle. Maybe bc oil is generally in a weird place right now with this drill baby drill bs, which might impact pricing sentiment in its own way. No clue how to play flowers.
Here's what we import from Colombia that will get socked with 25%/50% tariffs if imposed . . .

This is childish but I noticed if you ask chatgpt and deepseek what cheek busting means… deepseek seems to have no clue and chatgpt will give you a winking emoji depending on how you ask

The first week of the Trump presidency reminds me of that episode in downton abbey where the star vomits blood on everyone and the show goes on like that never happened.

What a waste of time both ways. A stupid idea pushed to shareholders who reject it across the board. The words Costco and politics should never meet in a sentence.
NOW: More than 98% of #Costco shareholders have just rejected an anti-DEI measure

The attempt to force Costco to audit their #DEI work was by an anti-inclusion lobby group:

"The proponent's broader agenda is not reducing risk for the Company but abolition of diversity initiatives." - Costco Board

Nat gas cratered while Trump was speaking because he made a declaration to lower oil pricing/interest rates and spiked up bc people realized the policy is literally just asking opec and the fed to do it.

Uranium up ahead of Trump infrastructure annoucement around AI buildout 😉

Strength from Brazil, Argentina and an underwhelming tariff on Mexico would set up an incredivle bounce in $ilf…can recover 20% easily.
