So funny thing

When I was in Singapore a decade ago, this is kind of what the cops were dressed like….

Until there was a terrorist attack in Jakarta. At that point every normal looking cop instantly got replaced by a paramilitary guy with an SMG
Watching the Song of My City on TCM that's basically scenes of New York in the 1970s and it's a reminder that cops used to dress like this. Not at all suggesting that it was some sort of utopia, by far not my point, I'm not stupid, but it is notable they weren't dressed like soldiers in a war zone.

V's desperate struggle to survive is compelling, as long as you don't remember that you spent weeks of in game time driving around looking for hallucinations to scan with your cybereyes

We did actually indict him though. That is a thing that happened. Twice.
Genuinely shocking to me that this same crew of people have spent a decade trying to convince us that Dems are relentlessly fighting Trump and in fact couldn’t have fought harder, somehow including a period where Dems had total control of the government and their AG wouldn’t even prosecute him

Pretty sure it was the KPD that refused to work with the SPD in Germany, not the other way around

The only Known Good Way Out Of This was to vote for Harris and vote more Democrats into Congress. But these folks don't like that idea - they think it's icky to even talk about - so they keep stewing, thinking up reasons to blame it all on the Democrats.

this is actually a basic D&D problem: the game's 'economy' is still built on the notion that resting is limited and dangerous.
Really destroys the resource economy the game wants to have too; you can take too many long rests

My money’s on 3
So, 3 broad possibilities here:
1) Rutte agreed to something of substance pre-cleared with Copenhagen & Nuuk
2) Rutte agreed to something of substance *not* pre-cleared with Copenhagen & Nuuk
3) Rutte agreed to something of no substance but that made Trump feel warm and fuzzy and important
Hahahahaha pathetic, well done Big Man you've torched the lot for nowt. See what happens when you stand up to the bully?

The Dems put Jack Smith, guy who prosecuted people at The Hague, in charge of going after Trump. Trump got out of it by a friendly judge interfering and bonkers Supreme Court decisions.

It's genuinely wild that people think Donald Trump's senility grants him the power to transcend logistics. "Oh but they have a base there already & two ANG F-16s rotated in for an exercise!" Some radar technicians & a pair of 40 year old fighter jets is not an invasion force.
Let's save crashing out about Greenland until we actually see some movement from US assets that would indicate staging for an op. With a few hundred European troops and a couple warships already in theatre or imminently arriving, a clandestine SOF raid isn't going to cut it anymore.
