I loved the film, but not because it was accurate to the book. There were certainly connections to the book and twists on certain plot points but accurate it was not.
The closest any adaptation has gotten has been the Hallmark two-part mini and Branagh’s film.

I guess they thought the name was a little too much, so opted for a different name while Edward Nygma is one of the Riddler’s fake names.
