Oh, to be a widdle foster kitten, sleeping peacefully after giving the human at least a few grey hairs the past few weeks.
Lola gave me a scare and lost over 1/2 a pound in a week. With lots of medicine and supportive care, she's gained it all back and is back to normal kitten antics.

There's a special joy of realizing you got off work just in time to catch the river at just the right moment and that you remembered to bring extra layers for the cold and had the right lens.

I haven't been getting out near as much as I should thanks to busy season at work and my current batch of foster kittens keeping me too tired for adventures. Thankfully, the kittens have made a turn for the better and busy season is over.

We've had two upsets in the race for the chonkiest kitten 😂
Ahsoka overtook Chewbacca for first and Obi overtook Lola for third.
Poor Kylo is still in dead last, but he does get the MVP award for gaining the most weight over the past 3 days!

Meet Leia and Kylo! A sweet, but bossy and confident momma and her grumpy little boy.
Leia is a love bug and likes to chat and yell at me.
Kylo isn't so sure about people and really doesn't like me loving on him or his mom, but that'll change with time.

There were a whole bunch of the bigger monarchs hanging out in the wildflower patch behind the office today!
The wind was not my friend for shooting, but I was thrilled that I had a few good shots.
Hoping for better luck tomorrow!

She's stirred a few times and yelled at me, but just gets comfy again and falls straight back to sleep.
It's been at least 30 minutes. Thank goodness I went to the restroom right beforehand, but I wish I had grabbed my snack from the kitchen.
