Hell, I've read that a lot of those nostalgia tours are bankrolled by private equity. The bands get a flat fee and the equity keeps the rest, so they're incentivized to jack up the price as high as possible

Down here it's even worse b/c travel costs are so brutal for bands. That said, Ulcerate and The Amenta are playing and it's *only* $40, that's like half price for a show
