Grok is probably the most unsubtle version of this control, with the crude levers of information being pulled to create the Mechahitler thing, the Kill The Boer thing, etc. But Claude and ChatGPT and all the rest do the exact same thing

This really says it all. "AI" as currently constituted in LLM form is really about control: VCs/billionaires/govts want to control information, they want us locked into the tools they control and thereby control what we see, do, and think of as possible.
This is why bringing up specific functions of 'AI tools' in the debate is usually meaningless.
The people speaking for AI aren't really speaking for any use of tools, rather they are endorsing a general vision of a future based on growth and control. Their ideology cannot be debunked by facts.
