It's funny when you feel as if you don't want anything more in your life except to sleep, or else to lie without moving. That’s when you can hear time sliding past you, like water running.

Why does every straight dude in Stranger Things have the same macho, needing to get over being overprotective character arc every single season, including the final season? Can we not, for the final season, just have everyone working together and respecting each other against the bad guy?

I have never felt connected to a festival. Diwali, Holi, Ganesh Chaturthi, Durga Pooja etc etc etc. At most if they were holidays, it was a day I got to read or listen to music more than usual. Independence Day and Republic Day have some meaning but mostly feel ironic.

There’s a (verified) horrific video of the Israeli army executing two unarmed men and then desecrating their bodies with a bulldozer making the rounds. I’m not going to share it but I will make reference to it to emphasise that there is no ceasefire in Gaza, the West Bank or Lebanon.

I'm assuming that any mediocre song I encounter over the next six weeks, that I'm not already familiar with, is from Wicked.

In episode 3 of THE BEAST IN ME we get a peek at what Aggie is writing, and like most fictional authors in films and TV, her prose is tin-eared slop. This isn't actually unrealistic for a bestselling memoirist so I'm not complaining.
