Hi this is my pinned post describing what I'm currently researching! I'm open to criticisms and corrections from the disabled community *only*, but I'm open to help from anyone 😘
1/ This proposal is about studying how disabled people can work with farming. In a broader sense it discusses work with all kinds of what are known as ‘natural resources’ – for example fields, forests and animals, as well as rock and water.

One of the most sickening realizations I've ever had came when it hit me that six hundred years from now historians will be writing things like "while technically illegal, intercourse with minors was broadly accepted as normal among the American ruling class, and even a marker of status"

It’s fucking heartbreaking watching the pleas from MN residents start echoing the pleas from Gaza residents
A desperate plea sent to me by a Minneapolis resident who's been on the front lines since the beginning of the ICE occupation:

Sounds like someone who wouldn't pass the security check to be the quartermaster of a Swedish home guard platoon.
It is a hallmark of Mandelson’s career that he was always either plagued by money troubles from living beyond his means or scrambling for more money to live the lifestyle to which he felt entitled by birth. Starmer looked at that and said, “Let’s put him in the highest diplomatic office possible.”

"The Last Baby Will Be Born in 2012 and, Worse, He'll Look Like This."

A 1913 news article suggested that a decline in birth rates and social changes, such as women entering the workforce and fewer people marrying, would lead to a "neuter type" of human and eventually, the end of the human race.

This is bleak: Jes Staley, currently CEO of Barclays, reassuring Epstein that popular revolt against financial elites is unlikely because capitalism and pop culture have defanged social movements, leaving people more invested in consumption than justice.

There's a lot of articles written about how the far-right organises people with barbecues and activity clubs, but I think a new left has also been emerging based on sociability and clubs.
Nordic anti-fascist hat knitting patterns. Anti-ICE charity nail polish colours and FUCK ICE nail art. Cookie decorators creating designs that say things like "Pretty Good Day to Fight Fascism." I'm seeing all these things in my feeds, and I'm just on the fringe of these crafty-type communities.

The ICE killings in Minneapolis evoke Selma but the day-to-day tactics in Minneapolis remind me of the Birmingham Bus Boycott: a grinding, continuous, citywide and logistically demanding effort of non-cooperation over months to break an unjust status quo.
A manager for the Immigrant Defense Network told MPR News that back in November, 2,500 people were trained as constitutional observers. Now, the total is nearly 30,000 trained observers in 77 of Minnesota's 87 counties.
