Why pay to go to a beer festival when I can go free to a "craft" beer bottle shop and have the choice of 8 ever changing drafts or 300 cans.

P.S. Ascot Racecourse beer festival is excluded as the venue is unique.

Yes. The dog and I spent a lovely time whilst the others did the shops.

We paid for Angela Rayner’s education. We paid her wages when she worked for the local council. We paid her wages when she became an MP. We even paid the settlement that enabled her to buy a house. Tax payers have funded every aspect of her entire life.

Can't remember what it is called, but the one near Wordsworth's grave and the nice gingerbread shop.

@martycricket.bsky.social Oscar has woken up. Thanks for the commentary tonight. Good luck staying up.

@martycricket.bsky.social Ollie Robinson is also the captain of Farnborough FC. Hampshire's finest non-league football team. Surely not the same man.

@martycricket.bsky.social Celebrating Hampshire's score with a beer from a Hampshire brewery! Sadly, Oscar the dog is not as thrilled.

@martycricket.bsky.social Enjoying this from @hampshirecricket.bsky.social, listening from Yateley in the north of the county. Great commentary as always.

@kevinhowells.bsky.social Listening in from Yateley (Hampshire) and I was slightly concerned after one from the first over. That concern has lifted...

Obviously, on the way home...

In Jan 2003. So, 20 plus years ago, but I still remember deliberately missing the train to have another pint.

Farnborough V Arsenal FA Cup 4th round. The police moved it to Highbury as we didn't have the capacity. Lose 5-1, but this was the beer on the water home at The Hole In The Wall at Waterloo.

Train picnic? There must have been somewhere to buy a beer.
