Sorry, I've never been so can't comment. Your comments are valid for Ascot too, we get people turning up for the racing with no idea that a beer festival is on and beery types who don't care about the racing.

"Craft" lager always sells well at the local (non CAMRA) festival. My biggest CAMRA event is at Ascot Racecourse and they have 8 key keg lines and a specialist bar, last year it was a Black Beer bar. All cask was gravity.

Stick a key keg bar up. This will be the future of beer festivals.
