That would be my guess. That people who knew him knew he was out of his league and a nonstarter candidate, except for $$.
Also, no endorsements by any electeds - even Ed Flynn never endorsed him.

And Neither Globe or any other media ever published on why NO ONE other than one union ever endorsed Kraft or spoke publicly to support his “policy” platforms. Not landlords, not developers, not BPS parents, not the nonprofit community he was supposedly a leader in and sat on umpteen boards for.

Wouldn’t it have seemed less desperate and been more effective if Josh had waited until after the primary to use these endorsements as part of (yet another) campaign “relaunch”?

Kraft will get the 2nd spot on ballot for November final. However it may be the first time ever that someone 50 points behind in polls has been called a “front runner”. But maybe he’ll use it in one of his ads…
