What I hate is that ppl seem to completely lose the focus on why A/ is bad in the first place. Yes, theft and stupidity and loss of creativity. But even if it was "helpful". The environmental concerns just for helping with tasks that everybody did fine before? It's horrendous.

“how it works” saying if you choose to opt in, you’ll verify your number and import your contacts. Another post saying it only works if both people participate and if you don’t opt in, you won’t be findable.

If game studios keep wanting to use genAI bullshit in their games then just remember that you likely have a steam library in the hundreds if not thousands of older titles made before genAI was a thing and you could play them for your entire lifetime and never give a studio another cent.
