I haven’t been paying attention so this may be illegal by now (does this count as evidence of a lack of mens rea in the event it is?) but can someone do a study on Black women & queer people being let go by their employers in the last year?

I look up the board of curators/trustees for my state’s university system every once in a while (look, we all have our hobbies) and when I looked a week or so ago it was (still) all business owners and lawyers.

I look up the board of curators/trustees for my state’s university system every once in a while (look, we all have our hobbies) and when I looked a week or so ago it was (still) all business owners and lawyers.
Accidentally made myself cry in public last night and this guy with a serious and slightly curmudgeonly exterior took my napkin and started wiping my tears in the most earnest way. It was unexpected and very sweet and funny. Can we make America tender again?

Most every black and queer person I knew saw all this coming a mile away and theres a reason many have gone or are going semi-dark and yeah, its entirely for our own health & safety. Many of us don’t even have jobs anymore or are in danger of losing our livelihoods or know multiple ppl who are.
A lot of Black people I know saw this coming and have gone quiet / underground for like, a year.
From CRT/DEI, We were being purged from positions, sidelined from jobs, and under this new line of attack for the last 3-4 years at state and local levels.

Researchers, especially those working with vulnerable populations, should PDF this and ensure that their data is truly de-identified to the best of their ability using these standards www.hhs.gov/hipaa/for-pr...
