Has anyone posted this edit of Trump yet? It's very tempting to draw this paralel from what is already there in Turkey and what is unfolding in the US with this image

For the record; I have removed the discover feed from my main page. Unless someone knows a way to make its algorithm less American-centric I see no use in it

Finished making the Turkish pages of villages of Paphos on Turkish wiki. For the record; Agios Dimitrianos was the hardest one. I improvised the name as Aydemetrian back in OSM but the Ottoman record under Aya Tirimyano was a break. Should have had someone from Anadiou or Girit Marot to help.

Once again I offer condolences to Amerigans. The next 4 years is going to be a total shitshow.

To be fair, this shitshow was the natural conclusion of a broken system that is designed to never change; only thing you can do is endure or flee, unless you think you can stage a revolution or something

For all I care, the only other thing university education providing is damage to my mental health. Why tf should I see thousands of people and drown in hatred? Why should I have lecture assignments that give me more damage?
All for a single piece of paper?

I remember that during years I was at primary school the teachers there wanted us to preserve our local culture and encouraged us to learn musical instruments and/or folk dances.
I wonder how those teachers are doing right now; should have attempted to see them in person this september.

Mandatory reminder that European countries should sever ties with US and focus on self reliance. Anyone involved with the upcoming regime there should count as a security threat and defence mechanisms to be set accordingly

Finished Jedi: Survivor. Final Dagan and final Bode fights were making me so mad I ended up reducing the difficulty to story mode to finish them off.
I think they complimented the formula they got right in prior game with a even perfect implementation. Ending was quite tragic though; but worth.

Imagine getting your account breached and the only damage is getting your entire 100k gold spent on premium account and now I have some 1650 days of it.

That's like 4 and a half year wtf?

For the record; I'm in a position where both anti-woke and woke people would hate me.
I'm such a centrist 🙃

So, was I the only one got locked out of SWTOR with 7.6a minipatch? Had to reinstall game to be able to see past launcher without client peeking and shutting down without a crash log

One unfortunate thing with gaming isn't the incoming delisting of Forza Horizon 4, but removing the dlc and edition upgrades way earlier than date of delisting the game. Which means you're stuck with the edition you have unless you're willing to buy the game twice.

Last minute cash milking or what?

The news from Syria is interesting, but it's not over yet. Rebel forces may have captured Damascus and yet 1- they are not exactly unified in ideology and 2- they need to negotiate with SDF. If Assad had done the latter in 2020 he could have won.
One can only hope for the best outcome.

Question; did someone make the joke with the Blue Sky having a "White Sun"? I'm definitely sure someone made that reference but want to see it myself

Why would a game make Christmas-specific content that activates when you're in December? Doesn't mate if it's actual mechanic or a mere music; I'm sure that's not what I pay for 🙄

I think at the end I will apply for citizenship of the nation of 🏳️‍⚧️. There is so much going on that I need to assure my self preservation.
Let's see how things will unfold until then (hint: so far not very good)

Finally forcing myself to delve into UE4 to develop one type of game I wasn't able to find to play before. Obviously way different than usual modding stuff but annoyed to have this section taking 12 hours; looks so basic now that I look at it.
Still, I love devving; game dev has always been amazing😀

Unpopular opinion: those with outdated and hateful ideas should be dehumanized and isolated. The society can use much better members than those pests.

Ukraine doesn't only fight against Russian rule, they also fight to protect their identity. Russian nationalists consider them as "Russians who lost their ways after 1917 revolutions".
Cypriots in the occupied areas should take this as an example; the culture war settlers are waging is too relevant
November 19, 2024 at 11:07 AM
European here; you guys clearly need a new republic since this one is clearly broken enough to let these happen. Unfortunately the establishments there won't let this change happen so, big oof
This should terrify every American. It doesn’t matter where you stand on immigration. Using our military as a domestic law enforcement tool at mass scale will destroy its core purpose, turn the American people against them, and damage the institution for decades.

Whose idea was giving final year uni students three simultaneous assignments? Surely they don't want me go insane with stress, right? 🙄

Apparently in the 1990s CyBC had a program named "before the traces are gone" in which they visited former Turkish Cypriot villages in the free areas of Cyprus, showcasing the villages and what they left.
Luckily I was able to make such visit in september and took as many photos as possible.
