His whole life, @mlopesdasilva.bsky.social couldn’t high-five. Most of the time he would miss, or maybe catch just the tips of your fingers on the way past. Then he had top surgery, and that fixed everything! So we made a dance piece about it. 🙃

I had a prior auth for surgery and insurance was going to cover 80% of the allowed amount, but it turns out that the “allowed amount” is 15% of the actual cost of the surgery so now they’re covering 80% of 15% 🫠

Agreed: Citing generative AI is non-sensical. GenAI is not an author nor a source.
One of the weirder scholarly practices regarding generative AI that seems to have been normalized is citing chatbots.
I say normalized because many univs & scholarly associations recommend it as an element of proper scholarship.
But it doesn't make sense when you consider what a citation means. 1/
