I agree that support has slowly increased, but it always feels reluctantly. If Zelensky says that Ukraine doesn't have much chance without the US, I'm inclined to believe him.

It's pretty clear that we do, and have done since WW2. Our collective economies are much greater than Russia but our military is not. From my own perspective, the British military has been hollowed out over recent years/decades.

I write this as a British person. We can't rely on the US for our own security, that time has been and gone.

How's that? We should depend on the U.S.?

USAID was founded by JFK in 1961 as a key mechanism to fight the Kremlin.

By providing aid to countries to strengthen their economies & governance, it prevented them falling under Soviet influence

The Kremlin has wanted USAID destroyed ever since.

And now their man is in power.
