Well, we feel reasonably confident that we got 99.99% of our poster work done before the storm (and deadline). Fingers crossed we didn't miss any, and that if we did, people will be understanding of the circumstances.

Petition to give extra days to take election posters down if the weather is shit during the 7 days. Cause today it was raining so hard that at one point I looked up to hook the clippers around the cable tie and literally couldn't see a thing cause the rain was falling directly into my eyes nonstop.

Percy was not at all interested in cuddles tonight (very strange) and eventually got up and started scratching at things/sitting at the door/just generally acting unsure. Tried giving him water, putting him in the letterbox, etc, no luck. Eventually figured out the letterbox wasn't clean enough.

Lol I thought I'd be out of election mode by now, but nope! We've still got posters that need retrieving, and not enough people available to do it, so I'm back out again tomorrow! Thankfully not too early, but unfortunately probably in the rain.
