Spent the day doing some work on my Teardrop. It’s on a friend’s farm, because I don’t currently have storage for it at home. Most of the day was just planning stuff for when I pick it up in a fortnight to do some upgrades. Everything measured up, so here’s hoping it all works out.

Finally getting around to putting shielding in my P bass. Very rough surface inside, might have to sand it back next time, in about 20 years or so. May have to replace a string by then too.

The MMM Rock Air Balloon is out and about this morning, dropping icy cold cans of coke all over Melbourne, and handing out $100 vouchers for Strathfield Car Radios. You can find them landing in a field somewhere in the next 15 minutes, all thanks to the smart arse kid with the BB gun and great aim.

I take life seriously, as a serious adult. Which is why as much as I wanted this hat, I chose to not purchase it. But only because my other two Stitch hats have ears that flap.

I put a new tv in the Teardrop, the old one was a bit too old for digital tv stations. But the new tv the volume control only goes up in 3 levels at a time. That doesn’t fit well with my headspace. But at least the tv works.

I’ve wanted a Teardrop since 2007, but life for many reasons got in the way. This one came up and ticked all the boxes, at almost the right time, so I purchased it. The colour will change, but that’s no big deal.

A friend from Perth had an hour layover in Melbourne. She was with her family of five, and the kids love Stitch. So I quickly did a batch of cookies and surprised them. I’ve never seen cookies eaten quicker. It was great to catch up with them, even if it was brief.

The Plover that has been terrorising the neighbourhood attacked the adolescent Magpie, leaving it with an injured leg and wing. Took it to the wildlife rescue for rehab. It’s mum wasn’t to pleased with me but hopefully we can be friends again.
