Lewis Hall is going to be having nightmares for the next three weeks ahead of facing Salah again in the cup final.

Salah didn't score or assist that goal then. He is shite.

Some counting stats to back up the second half of your statement - In addition to the ho-hum 1.55 G+A per 90 he’s leading the league in passes into the penalty area, carries into the penalty area, and progressive passes received (per fbref). It’s insane.

I don't think the broader football discourse has fully grasped the all time great season Mo Salah is having

it's February and he already has 30 and 21 in all comps, 25-16 in the league, while being his (title-leading) team's primary possession outlet and ball progression option

Messi esque

Me checking my phone to see how many points my FPL captain Palmer has got as each Chelsea goal rolls in.

In an interesting game full of fascinating footballers, I was impressed by Brighton's Diego Gomez in his first start. One of them players who's brain you can almost see ticking along as he plays. Many players in this game that could play comfortably in the Champions League.

Feel like with Onuachu and Sulemana up front Southampton could be onto something if they got their act together and played to their strengths properly. Can see them tearing up the Championship next season.

Cole Palmer has spent two years reveling in the fact that he's so much better than the other Chelsea players around him. He seems now to be growing more and more frustrated that he's so much better than the other Chelsea players around him.

Liverpool aren't playing Newcastle anytime soon are they? 🤢

Hopefully Liverpool use Arsenal's result today as motivation tomorrow to make the gap bigger rather than an excuse for a draw being acceptable.

Never ever would have predicted an away team clean sweep for today's Premier League 3pm games.

Onana is terrible.

That's on Nunez. I'll never get over that miss.
February 19, 2025 at 9:25 PM
That's fucking unforgivable from Nunez.

A shocking 4 minutes for Trent so far.

The Anfield Wrap lads love saying "in the round".

You can absolutely guarantee that the decision on Slot's touchline ban will be delayed a few days so he's on the touchline for Wolves (H) but banned for City (A) and Villa (A).

One of the worst refereeing performances I've ever seen.

Oliver trying to fuck us out of another title.
February 12, 2025 at 9:31 PM
How THE FUCK is that a yellow?! Robbo placed his fingertips on him nowhere near the goal.
February 12, 2025 at 7:58 PM
Monumental levels of time wasting incoming now.

Oliver blowing for all sorts here.

Tonight is the first time in Liverpool's history that they have named a starting XI for a top-flight match without a single English player in it. #LFC
