An apartment building giving the Leaning Tower of Pisa a run for its' money, in being held up by several steel girders. There are cars on the street below the building, and several construction workers can be seen.
The building is labelled "the total collapse of society as we know it," the girders are labelled "publishing my little poems"

i tend to find
that sighing lines
defeat the mind -
whilst sorrow whined
is left behind,
and common signs
ease lonely pines
yet, all combined,
raindrops aligned
may sweep design
to a single line
so seek the fine
and hopeful rhymes;
raise up the blinds
help sunlight shine

This is the view out the window of the cabin I’m inhabiting for a few days in the Quinault Rain forest.
Listening to the sound of trees growing and wind off the lake.
Not a dog barking or a siren for miles.
Just me and my darling’ in the woods.

I, at least, have no intentions of fading. But it does something funny to my heart to see folks talking about leaving.

A nighmare fodder rubber-duck-cum-buddha. Flesh toned skin, buddha face with a duck bill nose and mouth, it's wearing brown robes open to the waist, almost showing nip but not quite. It has saggy fat buddha man boobs, and is touching one of these with a hand that also holds mala beads. The other holds a fan. It looks up, as if to say, "Yeah, I exist. Isn't life jolly?"
