My fave homemade trap: Get a tall glass. Fill with an inch of vinegar and a drop or two of dish soap. Make a funnel from a piece of paper that doesn’t touch the liquid, but rests on the rim of the glass.

Works like a charm!

I love that. But it’s Brooklyn. I live in Indiana, where even a far more centrist KH lost by almost 20%.

Real question: Do you think AOC could win here?

I agree. It sucks. I have two teen daughters and I’d love for them to see our country could overcome misogyny to vote for policies and values they would easily support if a dude espoused them.

Not a preference of that candidate so much as an observation.

The most energy we’ve seen on the left is for AOC / Bernie / Mamdani.

But they are all minorities of one or more stripes.

Pour all that populism into a straight WASP man and he’d win everything.

(Similar for HRC in 2016, though of course she had more baggage than KH and Trump’s awful potential was somewhat unknown at that point. Still, a no-brainer for anyone who heard them both speak for two minutes, IMO.)
