As the first Indigenous judge appointed to an appellate court in Canada, LaForme’s life and legal career have been shaped by “the shadow of settler colonialism,” which he says contributed to the deep kinship that he feels to Jewish people and their “ancestral homeland.”
Oh, Canada! Proud to learn about Harry LaForme combating false narratives about indigenous peoples in the land of Israel.

"A new social-media platform built by Canadians, for Canadians, and operated in Canada, will publicly launch in October with support from some of the most prominent names in the Canadian innovation sector."
It’s not lost on us that a new social platform isn’t exactly top of mind. Tech execs joining the U.S. military. More war.

And here we are, grateful for everyone with us in this moment. A social platform isn’t all that social without good people supporting it.

From this morning's Globe & Mail: The tariffs will cut U.S. gross domestic product by 0.6 per cent over the next decade, the analysis found. It will raise the price of goods purchased in the country 0.9 per cent by 2026. ... inefficient policy, a strategy heavily weighted with negative tradeoffs,

There’s something scary happening in the Canadian federal election.

In Quebec, the Bloc leader is now telling voters “Carney WILL WIN” so people can vote to give the Bloc more seats.

Singh is now saying Carney will get a “super majority” so voters can elect NDP candidates.

Do you see the problem?
No matter what polls say, this Canadian election could be VERY close.

Don’t be overconfident, apathetic, or unstrategic, like too many were in the United States.

Look how that turned out for them. And for the world.

TURNOUT WINS ELECTIONS.

2 more advance voting days.

Make Mark Carney our PM.
