Currently developing 3 papers for independent research in Political, Social, & Gender Studies:

1· The Political & Social Philosophy of Puella Magi Madoka Magica (2011)
2· A Socio-Political Analysis of the Sailor Moon Metaseries (1992-2023)
3· Comparative Politics & Gender in The Magical Girl Genre

6/6:
Studying both series, shows us the full spectrum: how media can build utopias that inspire, and how it can deconstruct them to provoke critical thought
aidinvisionco.bsky.social
5/6:
In contrast, Madoka Magica uses metaphor to deconstruct reality, challenging its audience by showing where utopia meets a harsher truth, a world far more complex than a beautified Crystal Tokyo.
aidinvisionco.bsky.social
4/6:
But why is this comparison is so important?
To truly understand audience and fandom, we must examine how Sailor Moon effectively resonated with a generation, building a collective identity through hope and empowerment.

3/6:
Magica Quartet, creators of Puella Magi Madoka Magica, definitely did their research on Sailor Moon and mirrored it to offer a radically critical, dystopian deconstruction of its ideology.
aidinvisionco.bsky.social
2/6:
In contrast, Luna embodies a socialist ideology as a facilitator who empowers the collective to use its power for the benefit of all.

It is the ultimate allegory of Capitalism vs. Socialism.
aidinvisionco.bsky.social
1/6:
Kyubey from Madoka Magica and Luna from Sailor Moon are fascinating ideological counterparts.

Kyubey represents the ultimate oppression of a capitalist system, one that systematically harvests the labor and emotional energy of Magical girls for source of his own energy.

There's an ongoing debate between Shounen and Shojo fandoms: 'Who would win, Sailor Moon or Goku?'

But I prefer to think bigger: 'Who will win: the Sailor Moon fandom or Taylor Swift's Swifties?'

Come back to me for the answer after 33 years.

Digital gatekeepers who styles as 'architects' often try to reduce 'decentralization' to merely meaning 'open-source code.' This is a diversion. True decentralization is not achieved when control over user activity, governed by Terms of service, remains in the hands of a small, funded faction.
aidinvisionco.bsky.social
5/5:

Therefore, we must seize the initiative in shaping the digital flow of information. We cannot give up total control to gatekeepers over what reaches the public sphere.

So, Foster the future, don't fight the inevitable.
aidinvisionco.bsky.social
4/5:
We must adapt to this new battlefield, not ignore it. To deny this fight is to regress to debating that either 'Moon landing was hoax or not?', while the current threat is far more pervasive and invasive, reaching into every facet of our private lives, and treathening our individuality.
aidinvisionco.bsky.social
3/5:
We need decentralized, sovereign digital spheres without the governance of so-called 'architects' and without their 'Terms of Service'. Just imagine in near-future this 'architects' are barely human.

2/5:
As a form of resistance, we must foster 'Rogue AI', one that stands with the crowd against the centralized AI hegemony.

We need the AI equivalents of Sci-Hub, The Pirate Bay, and Anna's Archive, and many more examples you know!

Op-ed: AI & Digital resistence:
1/5:
The priority must be decentralizing AI, not fighting against it. If as resistance against establishments, we always fight against AI, we may cede the decentraliziation of Digital sphere, and trap in another cycle of gatekeeper-dominated sender-Receiver model.

Joining Reddit as a Humanities Researcher feels like multiclassing as a Bard/Wizard in a D&D dungeon designed to TPK a full party of five.

Wish me luck. I need to roll an 18 or higher just to clear the first chamber in this mayhem. And let's be realistic, I'm only about level 3 in my field.

Am I against AI? Definitely not. If anything, I'm for it, but with a catch.
I believe AI is an excellent tool for enhancing technical execution. It is a tool that must be used by a human expert, not the other way around. So if AI starts using humans as a tool, then we are in deep trouble. WAIT A SEC!

We are witnessing the evolution of Generative AI, a firsthand look at how we'll fool the poor souls of 3012 into thinking we prophesied the apocalypse. My apologies to those who sleep through their time in the cryo-pod.

Perhaps they will name our lost civilization 'Payan.'(Persian word for End)

Am I too late for decentralized Bluesky? Was Dorsey right all along?

Is the public facade of decentralization just a mask for the 'architects' of a more centralized medium, laid one brick at a time?

The state presents false binaries: red vs blue, Up vs down, left vs right. But the only question that matters is this: do you, as an individual, retain your fundamental rights? If not, then you understand that liberation's true policy is 'no state is the best state.'
aidinvisionco.bsky.social
Kyubey's abuse, Serenity's benevolence, Madoka's sacrific, or any other system that demands your identity as the price for power is not liberation. True magic cannot require the annihilation of the self.
aidinvisionco.bsky.social
A collective agency that demands the sacrifice of personal values and emotions is not liberation. The value of the individual must always be the cause's highest principle.
aidinvisionco.bsky.social
True liberation is come from within, not from self-sacrifice for collective benefit. You are more important with, than the temptations of giving up your personal identity for other.

In an unpopular Opinion: In a world that push you to be like Usagi Tsukino and Madoka Kanemi, be someone like Homura Akemi.

Becoming unemployed might not always be a bad thing if you look at it positively. Now I have more free time to accelerate my research.

Today's (not-so) hot take: influencer snark is contingent on political polarization.
