This is only 6 minutes short of Taylor Nowlin’s overall supported FKT of 7:25:58, which still stands from November 2018.

Emily Hawgood and Marianne Hogan split Foresthill to Cal-2 almost exactly the same, Emily in 1:09:55, and Marianne 1:09:57.

For reference, Katie Schide did that section in 1:06:07 last year and Courtney Dauwalter did this section in 1:08:41 during 2023 States. #canyonsbyutmb

Francesco Puppi leads the 2025 Canyons 100k through Cal-2, in 4:51:14 elapsed.

Francesco split the Foresthill to Cal-2 section in 60m17s, faster than anyone in last years Canyons 100k race (Rod ran 62m36s) and faster than anyone in Western States history.

Courtney Dauwalter sets a new course record at the historic Crown King Scramble 50k, with a time of 4:19:49, bettering Ida Nilsson's previous mark of 4:26:44 set in 2019. @AravaipaRunning

Jim waxes the field at Chianti Castles Ultra Trail, with a near 30-minute win over Kiki and Vincent, although Kilian was clearly working through some injury concerns for a good part of the race. What a race. Heal up Kilian! States is going to absolutely RIP. #utmbworldseries

This year’s Ultra Trail Chianti Castles 120k is the first time we’ve had three former UTMB Champions face off in a race since UTMB 2021, which featured Francois, Ludo and Xavier.

Prior to that, it would’ve been UTMB 2017, with Kilian, Francois and Xavier. #utmbworldseries
