Young Man: That you Ms Green? I see Red roped you into this too

Green: An M&Ms work is never done. GameStop should be just up ahead

YM: I thought I smelt something

Green: The bastard behind the counter has Bambi on the PS2. If you come back empty handed you know what that means

YM: Yeah, trouble

Making this post has motivated me to dig up my Vita and play some games

Everyone's talking about how vanillaware games need to be ported to PC but I'm still waiting for Muramasa Rebirth to get ported to a more modern console with broader support.

I absolutely love my Vita but It's really a shame a lot of its library isn't available elsewhere.

The catch: the only game is Twisted Metal

Also it's not a game

These ads I've been getting for "Holy Trading Cards" are something I'd expect from a @criminalsimpsons.com post

It's sad that controllers are almost $100 nowadays

But at least 4 player split screen is dead so no need to worry about buying 4

The base game was merciful enough to cap the unlockables at 200 orbs, but the platinum trophy requires getting all 286. I can't tell if I've punished myself enough already or if I need to grind out the racing challenges for 15 hours until I get all the orbs

Old game ads out of context are great. Like can you even guess what this is an ad for?

Me: has anyone noticed any strange accounting practices in the AI industry?

Conspicuously-Enron-shaped-throat-jak: "Mmph ! N-nope, no circular financing I've seen around here lately, and certainly none that looked mighty appetizing! Haha no siree!...

The most nostalgic part of my Jak II playthrough is reading through a GameFaqs post from 2003 about a soft lock that I managed to get myself into. The two fixes are
(1) Restart the game
(2) Mail your PS2 memory card to Sony and they'll edit the save data

Do you think option 2 still works?

I love searching for a question online and finding a post from someone with the exact same question you have, down to the last detail.

I don't love realizing that you're the one who made the post 5 years ago and completely forgot about it.

Looking back, difficulty spikes were actually one of my favorite things in games as a kid. Aside from making games last longer, I would sometimes have to go to a friend's for help beating it. I found the memory card slot in PS2 game cases to actually be useful.

Sometimes I'll see a clickbait title that's technically true but so stupid that I'd prefer if they just made something up instead.

I just saw an article titled "US Banks will halt all activity for 48 hours this November" and the content was "they will be closed on Veterans Day and Thanksgiving"
