... with these tools, sometimes that's with similar techniques to cut-ups, and other times it's completely different. Each poem has a note underneath to explain how it was made. The main thing is: we only publish work where human intention is the driving force, and the AI has no creative control!

Hi Clare, thank you for your questions! I also find AI writing quite sinister, and I've started this in an attempt to try and de-humanise AI, to understand it as a tool to write with rather than as a being that can "write". We're interested in all the ways people might form their own authorship ...

Issue 04 is now online!

Ten fantastic poems from ten exciting poets, each negotiating with AI tools in different ways!

Check it out today at ailiteraryreview.co.uk/issue04
Lineup for Issue 04: James Nixon, Rachael Brooks, Ginny Darke, Oria Hearn, Alex Mazey, Michael Sutton, Julie Laing, R. Z. Hayes, CipherMyst, Gabriela Michele. Image of a human-esque face in close-up, sort of like a foetus, clearly formed but existing in a world of meat. The facial expression is calm, as if sleeping. The image doesn't look quite right - it's high resolution and detailed, but what it depicts is impossible. The image is AI-generated.
