So, how am I connected to both these guys? Well, I'm the author of separate award-winning children's books on each of them. Not bad for a disabled guy who wasn't able to participate in organized sports growing up. That's fine, for I found another way to channel my love for baseball, and it worked!

It's been almost two years now since my dear friend Lexi made her way to Heaven. I'm still deeply hurt by her loss. Lexi was the small red-headed woman I was hovering over in this photo from December 2019. Her eyes continue to bring me hope of better things to come. I'll never stop loving you, Lexi!
