US laws currently prevent ordering ships from abroad. US would like the capabilities transferred so they could build them in US, but building such capabilities takes time. New icebreakers especially if built in US wouldn't be ready for this administration.

US laws currently prevent ordering ships from abroad. US would like the capabilities transferred so they could build them in US, but building such capabilities takes time. New icebreakers especially if built in US wouldn't be ready for this administration.
Since US hasn't ordered any ice breakers by now, they're unlikely to receive any new ice breakers, especially not a fleet during 2020s. US laws also still restrict buying from abroad. The Nordic countries are united on issues always. We support international law. It's critical to us.

Russia's main goal is to destroy US. They prepare their children to fight US, they talk about in the government media everyday. Russia backs all US enemies, is behind the refugee crisis, most cyber crime, misinformation, drug and human trafficking. Russia paid Taleban 200k for each American life.
