New project on the loom- a color gamp with my 8/2 and 3/2 yarns and some placemats with my favorite colors right after that. #weaving

#gratitude that my new #weaving project has warped up really easily and is off to a great start. Being able to do a little here and there between classes helps keep my brain and fingers busy enough to stay distracted from seasonal allergies. Mostly.

My warping seems improved here. So satisfying to see plaid forming right before my eyes! #weaving

#Handwoven tea towels. My first real #weaving project since my very first in 2012! Washed/ wet finishing made all the difference! I love how much this yarn changed. (Valley Yarns 8/2 cotton)

I finished a #scarf last night- Mandala Ombré on a rigid heddle #loom. I’m happy with how it came out considering I’m very much a #weaving beginner, it’s knitting #yarn, & I did at least half with the back beam balanced on a braiding stool & the front on my lap. Not exactly stable! #fiberarts

Todays work between classes and housework and family:

It’s been at least 4 months since I’ve looked at the next #novel I’m publishing. No real creative spark there. Today today I started rebuilding my #creative practice without the pressure of publication. #weaving #writing #booksky

😅 If this isn’t the most 2010 post…original iPod screens were like two inches. This was one of the ones with a scroll wheel. No touch screen.

Witchy, been reading tarot since my teens, just baked ice cream bread for the first time today (baking is a comfort/ self care thing for me) - strawberry mint chocolate chip.
