Took the day off for Yael’s book fair. She had a great time (and yes, she completely finessed me into buying more books than I planned). After running errands and handling a little work chaos, I made it home just in time for the girls to get back.

1/2 Today was brutal. The news about the Bibas children broke me. My boss saw I was barely hanging on and told me to leave for the day, to go be with my family. But I had one last customer call scheduled—someone I truly adore—so I pushed through, holding it together just long enough.
