I HAVE A LITERARY AGENT!!!! I'm so, so excited to announce that I've signed with the incredible Lydia Silver at Darley Anderson Children's. I'm one step closer for my stories to get out there - and I can't wait for you to read them! 🎉📚

3: Wicked (⭐⭐⭐⭐.5)

When I saw the show for the first time on New Year's Day, I just didn't get this hype - but this... This was fantastic. Heartfelt, thrilling, gorgeous (albeit with some slightly odd lighting), and a powerhouse of talent from all involved. Consider me converted! 💚🩷

Living the editing lifestyle with a white hot chocolate. I've never been prouder of anything I've written and I can't wait for it to hopefully see the light of day. Dark academia, untrustworthy friendships, mysterious therapy programmes, and horrifying truths... Yeah, I like this one 😊

I'm trying to make the gym a regular part of my routine, and I think true crime podcasts are the solution to boredom! Give me some recommendations, because I'm almost done with Kill List (which has been terrifying, chilling, thought-provoking, and addictive!) and I need my next fix! 😊

For my queer YA thriller, I've 'cast' my characters for the first time and come on, look at this lot! I can be proud of a film that'll never be made, right?
- Andrew Scott as an evil headmaster
- Sian Brooke or Keira Knightley as a twisted psychiatrist
- Sarah Lancashire as the narrators mum

Three episodes into Squid Game 2 and it has completely dispelled every concern I had about whether a second series was needed. As tense and thrilling as the original, but with enough shocks and surprises to keep it fresh. Very much on board with wherever this goes! 🐙 #SquidGame2

2: Sing Sing (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐)

A breathtaking, life-affirming, and ultimately hopeful look at the cathartic power of art. If I'd seen this last year, it would have been a favourite amidst other very strong contenders. I'll be remembering this one for a while.

1: Nosferatu (⭐⭐⭐⭐.5)

Really loved this! Like staring into shadows or submerging yourself in oil for 132 minutes. Eggers is the best horror director working today and can do no wrong. Made all the better by dissolving into absolute chaos in the final act, in the best possible way! 🧛🏻🦇🩸

My #LastFourWatched! One of these was far, far worse than all the others... 😬

Will I ever forget this? No. Will my bank account ever forgive me? Probably not! But meeting Ncuti Gatwa and Millie Gibson a few weeks ago was, quite honestly, a life-changing moment! ♥️♥️

I started The Boy I Love today by the always-brilliant @whusseyauthor.bsky.social and I'm already in love - it may be his strongest writing yet. It'll no doubt be absolutely HUGE when it launches in January 2025 - and definitely deserves to be! #YA #reading #TheBoyILove #queer #youngadult

I know there are legitimate conversations to be had about the necessity of live action remakes of beloved and iconic animated movies, but I will be a blubbering mess in this because a) Toothless, b) the music, and c) Toothless 🐲 #HowToTrainYourDragon

My heart is so full after attending my first YALC yesterday. And my feet hurt and my bank account hates me and I'm still tired and my ears are ringing and I can't wait to do it all over again next year!!!! ♥️♥️ #YALC

Since everyone's flocking away from the Hellsite™️ to here, I think introductions are overdue!

I'm Adam, 28, a querying writer living in Manchester. All-round geek, and Doctor Who obsessive.

Oh, and I'm the one on the left, in case you weren't sure...

Finished 'This Is How You Lose The Time War' by Amal El-Mohtar and Max Gladstone on my commute this morning. Fiercely brilliant, sweepingly epic, and so, so clever! 🐦⌛
