It's worth researching when you buy a modern car if it's possible to disable these systems. It's almost not worth researching how secure they are because generally they are not, at all.

I say this a lot because I own one, but the fact that Mazda never did a proper hot version of the 2 is a crime. The styling was already there, it just needed the right color, the right wheels and tires, and maybe like 150 herspers.
As Craig points out following my Alfa post yesterday, Mazda also had a very vibrant hue on display. Being 2008 this predates Soul Red, but it'd be interesting to see it on some of Mazda's recent cars.
