NGL I just don't know if I will ever enjoy the game awards. The host always manages to feel disingenuous in their gestures and remarks when juxtaposed against the constant advertising and capitulating to corporations.

FYI the Democrats capitulated when they had the strongest position to force the ACA subsidies to be renewed. Instead, they buckled when the pressure was on Republicans.

Internet was finally fixed this morning. There ended up being a local outage which was resolved before I woke up. Not having a reliable internet connection was wrecking my brain.

ISP claims my internet issue is related to an old modem. Went to the ISP store to get a new modem since they don’t charge a separate leasing fee anymore. Got home, set up the new modem. Internet is still not working 🫠

I seriously cannot wait for the new fiber ISP to move into my area. My current ISP can't keep jacking up prices for sub standard services

My ISP really looked at Cloudflare and just went "bet" before tanking my network performance today.

Maybe I'm losing my grip on reality, but I feel like the timing of this shutdown vote is really odd. Last week's elections were incredibly strong for Democrats, and it seemed like the generate sentiment was that they were fighting for their constituents.

Lately I've been thinking about giving up on art. Maybe its just an art block moment™, but in the last couple of weeks I get the sense from my local community that the arts are a hobby only and otherwise should be replaced by genAI. Super depressing.

I'm trying to be a bit more organized, which means more lists and being objective with my daily tasks. I have to keep reminding myself that making the list is not the same as checking those items off.

ITS DONE! And just in time for Halloween week. It was so much fun coming up with Halloween costume designs for my OCs. This piece really stretched my ability to quickly render multiple characters while also designing a framing element. So much fun!
