My favorite part of this is where Bob misspells his own name as "Bod" at the bottom
Unfortunately the answer is either Hulu, Discovery+, or taking a weekend trip to a small Midwestern city and watching Food Network on their basic cable
This is what I tried to explain to the "being gay is a choice" people I grew up with. You think I actively CHOSE to be attracted to men??? When all of the humans who aren't men are right there???
unless... you put making the list ON the list
Had an Isabella Rossellini lunch* today

Air Canada has daily flights to HND and NRT from YYZ that depart 5 minutes apart and, as far as I can tell, almost always depart from adjacent gates. I guess you get to Tokyo either way, but when I experienced it a few weeks ago it was... chaos
The number of times I've had to explain to IT professionals that the entire idea of a public key is that it is public and thus does not need to be treated like the nuclear football is... too many
Going to convince the tech bros of America to think vaccines are cool again by rebranding them as disease microdosing. "Ever since I started microdosing the flu once a year I've never been healthier"
"When our friends and congregants are kidnapped, forced into hiding, torn away from their families—those things are happening to Jesus in real time. ... We must act to stop this evil and witness to the goodness and dignity of all God’s children." docs.google.com/document/d/1...
This happened to me at a cafe in Tokyo when I was there a few weeks ago and I was so sad that I had to come home 🥲

i’ve posted some version of this many times so i finally decided to make my case for it: taxing the rich is not only good for us. it is good for them. having a billion dollars is like toxic waste for your soul. we can and should remove it from them. it’s the loving thing to do!
A Christian Plan to Help Billionaires
There is no logical reason for people to live like this. We should help them.

If there’s one thing about student journalists it’s that they know their rights and they are going to fight for them.

A top 10 human feeling is windows open, chilly fall morning air, hot shower
Being away from America for two weeks will have you craving the craziest things when you return. Tell me why I’m insatiably in search of a hamburger steak with mashed potatoes like it’s 1953 and I want to try one of those newfangled TV dinners
"...the poor are promised only a few 'drops' that trickle down, until the next global crisis brings things back to where they were. A genuine form of alienation is present when we limit ourselves to theoretical excuses instead of seeking to resolve the concrete problems of those who suffer."
Accidentally fell asleep at 9:30 last night, so my body was ready to go at 6:45 today. Did you all know there’s a thing called “morning”? When you can observe something called a “sunrise” on a “chilly fall day” with a cup of “coffee”? I thought it was fake all these years but is apparently real.

People think it’s silly or odd when I talk about coming out to myself and then coming out to God — but when you’ve been praying to be fixed for 4-5 years and realizing it’s not going to happen and that’s even better, it’s a major shift!

Jacob’s thread is great. I wasn’t given a book per se, but seriously considered going to Grove City College because Warren Throckmorton was there. I was *very* bought in to the mindset behind conversion therapy.
I was lucky to never undergo formal conversion therapy, but I was given books about it (specifically "Light In the Closet") and absorbed a lot of the mindset. Beyond the suicidality it can push you to when you realize you can't change the way you want to, conversion therapy fucks with the way you
There are many reasons late-night convenience store runs don’t hit the same in America as they do in Japan, but chief among them is that they cost $20 rather than $4
