More to do instead of watching inauguration:
1. Watch a classic movie
2. Write an old fashioned letter
3. Bake cookies and share them
4. Tell your family and friends you love them.
5. Call the person who makes you laugh the most

I am not watching the inauguration. Here's what to do instead:
1. Volunteer or do something nice for someone in honor of Dr. Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.
2. Read a book
3. Dance and sing like no one or everyone is watching.
4. Take a bubble bath
5. Watch puppy&kitty videos on MEIDAS Touch Network

I know what I saw on January 6, 2021. There was nothing peaceful or loving about it. We cannot forget. We cannot allow history to be rewritten to fit a false narrative. The whole world was, and still is, watching.

Lindsey Graham says that Hegseth will release the woman who accused him of sexual assault from a confidential settlement agreement, so she can testify about the incident. She told police in 2017 that Hegseth assaulted her and may have slipped a drug into her drink. Could get very ugly -- or uglier.

"Biden made the correct choice to protect his son against the powerful unfettered vindictiveness that is to come in a few short weeks. Let’s hope he uses what’s left of his waning days in office to stave off more of the inevitably impending horrors." ICYMI @kimwehle.bsky.social:
In Defense of the Hunter Biden Pardon
This was a tough call—but consider what Trump’s weaponized Justice Department would have done to Biden’s son.

More bad news for the Muskrat.
This is going to be a huge hit to his already ruined social media site.
I love this for him.

For the first few months of the 119th Congress, the Republican House majority will only be 217-215 over Democrats, with two Republicans nominated to serve in the Trump administration and Matt Gaetz having already resigned.

Wonder how Republicans are going to spin this statement from Pete Hegseth’s OWN MOTHER.

I wrote about how Michael Popok and I met and started Legal AF. It’s also an important lesson in never judging a book by its cover. We met in 2015 when we were litigators on opposite sides of a case. We went from fierce adversaries to best friends in 5 years. open.substack.com/pub/meidasto...
