Congratulations to all who fought for it and the present and future artists of all sorts in Ireland. That includes me 👌We’re just comin to the end of a 3 year pilot scheme. It’s been a roaring success. For every €1 paid out to the 2000 participants, the government got €1.46 back. Can’t argue with that. Other countries are already taking note."

I don't know where this confidence is coming from as I've only finished & published spec fic stories in the 5-7k range. But I've decided to write a novel in the 70K range.

I'm already sweating.

This is what reading more does to you kids. Don't be like me. Endlessly doom scroll and waste time.

the biggest difference that having a mainstream publisher made in the actual MAKING of my comic was that instead of starving to death to make my story, I starved, like, a tiny little bit less to make my story. the story itself is exactly how it would be had I published it online for free haha

lol I have spent today IMMERSED in two things: Tiny Chef lore and the Stan Winston School's YT account.
