What had the centaurs been running from? Curiosity got the better of John and with a quick shouted order he straightened himself back upright and followed the trail of hoofprints. Whatever the potential threat was was could still be near, so John made sure to keep aware of anything that moved as he headed the party (much to the elder hunter’s displeasure at being booted from the front of the line). He kept one hand hovering near the sword at his side, more than prepared to fight should they need to.
Ahead, there were no trolls or wolves or even other humans—little more than the occasional crab darting across the sands, and a few gulls overhead. Whatever spooked the centaurs hadn’t lingered. The only thing that stood out to John as he scanned their surroundings was a sandy lump beneath the heavy mesh of a fishing net. He dismounted to get a better look at it and immediately fell to his knees, reaching for his dagger when he saw what—rather, who—was trapped beneath the tangles.
It was a young centaur colt, pale as death. Bright blue eyes spread wide with panic. He remained completely frozen in place even as John hacked away at the net. The others in the hunting party maintained their distance, spread out with their backs to John so they could keep watch. It gave them some privacy, which John figured might be for the best given how panicked this poor thing was.
“Hey… hey, easy. I’m here to help ye,” John whispered, and the colt’s chest began to heave in panic as his anxious gaze darted around, moving where his legs would not. “Can ye understand me? It’s gonna be alright.”
The colt’s freckled fingers twitched. Once his hands were freed, he threaded them into his blond curls and tugged. Au where Johnny is the owner of a cat cafe. It's a beautiful space, a small cafe inside, lots of chairs and tables. Johnny found the building and completely renovated it, doing most of the work himself, his dad helping too. (1/43)

Soap who calls Ghost every pet name under the sun. He loves to shower his boyfriend with sweet titles.
On the other end, Ghost doesn’t use any sort of pet names at all. The only title he gets is just “Johnny.”
To be honest.. it makes him a little upset.
