I believe the problem is that our country allows there to be such a high difference in pay between the bottom 1% and the top 1%. If only we could hold those higher up accountable and force better pay for their employees. It seems the top would rather lay off departments than take a pay cut.

A lot of these things were around until 2010s-2020. I was born in 96 and don’t remember the 90s but I’ve seen all of these things go away.
