Wait--it's not in the emergency room so a doctor who has never met them before can try to figure out their goals of care before the admitting physician will agree to see them? Shocking.

How do you like the urban arrow? We're considering our first baby-friendly e-bike, and we can put a younger baby in the cargo area but I'm worried it's too big/unwieldy for me. Other option is to wait until he's big enough to sit in a rear seat.

Hard to be certain (and different docs might disagree here, art of medicine etc) but a scratch that isn't a puncture wound or deep enough to need stitches feels like 10 years would be fine.

It's a bit subjective, but definitely if cut by anything that is visibly rusty or dirty--stepped on an old nail, twisted metal outside, something sharp in a garden bed, etc. Also a deep bite, including cat/dog/human.

A normal well-maintained kitchen knife wouldn't count.

10 for standard preventative care, but I'd update after 5 if you had a particularly dirty or high risk wound.

Toodling! Didn't really realize how far I walked in all today. Morning walk to yoga was in some slip-on Toms, and then midday and evening walks were in Toms sneakers. But they're all many years old and I'm sure they're not good arch support.

This was somewhat unintentional--I took a short walk this morning, a long walk midday, and a medium walk in the evening, all basically unrelated to each other. Had no idea how many miles I put in.

Right now my treat is feeding a sleepy baby in the dark, and then going to bed.

I didn't mean to! Walked a few blocks to postpartum yoga class and back this morning. Took a long walk with the stroller midday, listening to Yom Kippur services on Zoom. Took an afternoon nap. Then medium walk to synagogue for evening service and break fast. Don't know how it was >6 miles!

I have repeatedly told my husband that he is very lucky that he met me as an attending, and he did not have to go through all of medical school and residency with me. The flipside is that we didn't meet until our mid 30s.

He seems to have a nice, liberal, Jewish, Santa Monica family, who is absolutely appalled at what he has done. Really makes you wonder.

I would be absolutely shocked if it only went for 3 million. That's at least a $4 million home. Or the market has cooled off a lot since we bought our house a couple of years ago.
