Honestly, a trillion dollars for a part-timer. I know plenty of people who would work full-time for a mere billion.

If a billionaire is a policy failure, what's a trillionaire?

The Ford government already eliminated rent control for buildings built after 2018. They are now taking steps to eliminate rent control in Ontario altogether. This is shameful and disgusting given the affordability crisis that so many people are facing.

So Doug Ford doesn't want car traffic kanes converted to bus or bike traffic lanes. Ok, let's convert car parking lanes to bus or bike traffic lanes.
Today's announcement by Doug Ford on the so-called "Fighting Delays, Building Faster" Act is yet another attempt to interfere with Toronto's streets and the way we get around, opening the path for the province to ban dedicated transit lanes.

Sign at a station of the Alleged Eglinton Crosstown LRT line.

I'm no expert, but wouldn't "out of service" imply it's actually been *in* service at some point?

Thread. Someone in Toronto needs to pay attention.
I remember, many years ago now (with ny transport strategist hat on) being asked in a BBC interview if Crossrail would be Khan's biggest legacy. The thing that had the biggest impact on London.

I said:

"No. It'll be ULEZ."

One of those mythical electric buses in the wild.

Fun fact: I've seen these from time to time on the streets of Toronto over the last 5 years, but only just rode one for the first time this week.

Worth a read.

"Companies like OpenAI cannot survive without the huge amount of data that the internet provides to train their AI models."

Basically, AI is generating recursive GIGO and not only will collapse under its own weight, it risks taking the Internet with it.
