I do think there’s a, like, tactical necessity to define aspects of American identity from the left. My whole life the right has been successfully defining us out of being Americans, and it’s been an effective weapon against us. IMO we should try to capture this weapon and turn it against them.

I love Spier & Mackay shirts (esp. the oxfords) , but they are too costly with the tariffs. Can you suggest somewhere of comparable price point & quality I can shop until we get past the tariffs? Also seconding the requests to post here more!
