Yeah, that's my real issue with the state of AAA development. In general, I don't like how big companies operate, but getting to the point of burning people to get the most profit out of it even if it means the company could die with the next project is just bonkers.

I should say, as it might be worth pointing out publicly, I am looking into this, I've reached out to Steam directly, and actively pitching stories on this subject so if any other devs have experienced something similar do reach out.
