My apologies. I wasn't trying to be a jerk, nor was I accusing you of pretension, though in rereading my post I can see how it can be taken that way. I've been admiring your woodworking since that first wooden boat you built years ago.

They don't have to be dovetails. Those look skilled but I find them a bit pretentious. You can build a plenty strong drawer that will last your lifetime w/o dovetails. They're invisible most of the time. You're doing nice with them though.
