Vegan Character Rigger @ DreamWorks Animation (veganism doesn’t preclude me from rigging animals)

Sculpting in #Blender in my off hours.
Raging against social media on social media.
Apparently, according to the State of California, I'm exposing these birds to Bisphenol A and other chemicals.

I'm a monster.

Yes, I'm ready.
Go #Seahawks!

Yeah, I only found the one sock. If they lose, that'll be the reason.

One of the reasons I like my 200-600mm lens.
First image is what I took at 550mm.
Second is my crop with a little added red circle to highlight the third image, which seems to be bits of bone and seeds and other stuff. Cool!

This photo I just took in my front yard cracks me up. It looks like the red bird scared the yellow bird so much that it jumped, forgot how to fly, and plummeted to the grass below.

Man, I am really enjoying are.na. It's like having a corkboard for ideas, references, beat boards, whatever. With the web extension, you can right-click on just about anything and add it to your board. You can even embed YouTube videos via their URLs. Totally wicked.

Lovin' it, @are.na.

If you're patient enough, a lot of that stuff finds its way onto Vudu (Fandango AtHome), and typically higher quality video.

Started dorking around with an idea for the @hellsculptclub.bsky.social monthly challenge this month. I ultimately landed on a similar mano a mano style thing, but not this.
I hate this creature and will eventually put something else in here.

I have to wait 10-14 months for this, but it's gonna be worth every second.

Absolute Batman by #Sideshow Collectibles.

I have no idea where I'm going to put it.

I started something for goblin week, but I’m posting a wip only to calibrate my iPad, which tends to be too bright. Ignore this…

A sketch done tonight while waiting for my turn to video chat with my mom, after my two kids. Inspired by the book BUFFALO HUNTER HUNTER, which I just finished up last night.
Done with Infinite Painter on my iPad.

Still baby-stepping my way with #Godot.
White-boxed the simplest of areas (won't call it a level) to test bot behavior, which I'll attack after I go grunt at the gym.

I hope to be able to chase at least one despot before the night is over.

Just throwing in the first test run cycle for one of the many antagonists in a game that's mostly in my brain at the moment.
This is just something to attach to a bot.

Any likeness to anyone living or hopefully soon not living, is intentional.

Does this mean we'll start seeing bodega cats in Washington?

If there's a smart glasses boom, it will coincide with the increased demand for blackjacks. Invest accordingly.

Grid Fill...my favorite #Blender find of 2026.
I knew about it...just never used it before. I'd forgotten about it since I'm mostly sculpting.

I'm not sure if I ever got a better education than that provided by James Burke through his CONNECTIONS series.

We watched these in 8th grade during our Wednesday "gifted" program days. I wished everyone had a chance to see them. Now everyone can through Kanopy.

One of my favorite aspects of creating anything remotely historical is learning about the specifics of the time.
In this case, a character I'm working on is a US Marine Tunnel Rat during the Vietnam War.
They liked to use Smith & Wesson Model 29 revolvers and KA-BAR knives in the tunnels.
